It took over a year from the time the first bit of paint went on these walls to when I would call this done.. but we finally got here and I’m SO happy with the results!! Did you check out the moodboard to see where the vision was coming from?? Let me know if you think we got close!
Normally I try to DIY most things, but I didn’t have it in me to completely start from scratch for everything! Instead I focused on doing the curtains and refinishing a desk I got on FBMP. We have a desktop and Joe insisted on a gaming computer instead of an aesthetic iMac like I wanted (boooooo LOL). The problem though, is that you cannot find aesthetic desks with space for a whole tower. It’s almost like it’s 2024 and people don’t have towers anymore unless they’re full gamers and then get a gaming desk setup…. But good ol’ Facebook came through with a sold wood desk that I knew with enough time and love and supplies, I could make my own.
For those that we couldn’t DIY, I tried to source sales, second hand, and then I did get some of the larger pieces from big brands (light, rug, credenza). I hope you love this space as much as I do! I believe it will serve us well!
